We are proud to announce that our attorney Servet Yildiz Stêrk has been nominated for the Bar Association's Talent Award 2021 in the category of "Associate of the Year." The nomination serves as a recognition of Stêrk's engagement in the diversity debate within the legal profession and his innovative approach to marketing legal services.

According to Advokatbladet, the jury particularly noticed how Stêrk has "articulated the discrimination within the industry and the challenges it entails." The jury describes him as "one of the bravest associates in the industry by being a clear voice on a relatively contentious issue."

"It is a great honor to be nominated for this award. I am almost moved, as my experience with the role of associate can best be described as a valuable discomfort. The legal profession involves much responsibility and expectations, not least considering our societal mission," says Stêrk regarding the nomination.

The jury also highlights Stêrk's ability to reach new client groups through creative marketing, stating that he uses "his role and public persona to advocate for an important cause, as well as promote the core values of attorneys in the public space effectively."

The Talent Award will be presented during the Bar Association's Annual Address event at the Grand Hotel in Oslo on November 18, 2021.
