In October 2021, Utrop reported on Servet Yildiz Stêrk's nomination for the Bar Association's talent award. Stêrk was particularly highlighted for his commitment to diversity in the legal profession and his innovative use of social media.
In the summer of 2021, Stêrk launched his Instagram account with the goal of becoming "Norway's first Instagram lawyer." He quickly reached 4,000 followers and successfully reached people who otherwise would not have sought legal assistance.
"By being available on the right platforms, one can help prevent individuals from accepting injustices. For me as a lawyer, this is part of my oath to promote justice," Stêrk stated to Utrop.
The jury for the Bar Association's talent award particularly highlighted Stêrk's commitment to improving diversity in the profession. He also participated in the national jury for the Diversity Award 2021, which is the state's recognition for the outstanding use of immigrants' competencies in the workplace.
Stêrk has previously worked in the public sector, including in the Foreign Service, the Parliament, and the Armed Forces, before starting as an associate at Tveter and Kløvfjell.
